Back from camp. A brief summary of my experience. Bad. I would label it. Mixed feeling. And I'm disappointed. Not emo. I'm just disappointed. It seems that our batch always screw things up. We always break record for the worst things to occur. We always don't meet expectations. Everytime. And I don't know what else we would screw in the future. Maybe not, maybe because this is our last year and our last time having camp in form 5?
It was an eventful day indeed. Just morning I have accounts test, then gathered back at the school canteen at 2.30p.m. Fortunately, we didn't wait long before the bus came and we got onto it. Okay, nothing really happened in the bus, except some teases from kws. 5.00, destination reached. After setting up our tent, we have a tour around the Nilai College. (sien la)
Dinner time- High MSG intake.curry rice. Or rather, "jian lau fan" (prison rice). Haha. Then we were ushered to the president hall for the first programme- Ice breakers. I hated it. I always hate ice breakers. I remember vividly that we have to throw a ball to one another while saying our name and others. Damn sien. The "egg breaker", even worse, I was in the lobster group. The members remained quiet and dumb like a lobster and I was the only one who kept talking all the time. Idea was mine too, but it failed. haha. It was something like we have to drop the egg from above without breaking it, given a thread, newspaper and a balloon. I figured they carried out this boring activity for years. But I enjoyed the part where everything was over and they asked us to write down our experience. I remember writing a 'scientific experiment report' with hypothesis, diagram, procedure, graph and conclusion. Hahaha. We science stream students mah.. sure must different from others lo. Most of us wrote crap la.. Simply conteng the paper with smiley faces and evil smiles.
Back to our tent after bathing. The night was a long, and an endless one. We were supposed to sleep at 11.30. Actually I don't wanna sleep that early but since my tent mate wanted to sleep, then we have no choice. It was quite impossible and the attempt to sleep was so fragile, as you can see, there were several conflicts. First, I drank too much water due to the thirstiness (first thought- the curry rice..ohshit!), which enough for me to rush to the toilet ( about 1km away) four times in a night. Second, the noise originated from the desmond's tent (just behind ours). They gossiped and touched on almost every issues and relationships in our school- Four hours non-stop, to be exact, seriously, they know everything. Third, stupid Matthew called all his mosquito army from his house to attack us. But in the end, he got boomeranged and couldn't sleep. Wakakakkakaka. Fourth, the noisy snores from everyone in my tent, and Matthew, you snored damn loudly lah hahaha. Fifth, the farts from my thoughful tentmates, sean, bu yao kek pi. Sixth, due to the disturbance from Sean, who seemed sick that day but insisted in sleeping in our tent. According to him, his tent got a lot of bird-hunter. LOL. Seventh, climax of the night at 3.00am. All the monkeys-monkeys and hantu-hantu came out from no where to hunt us. Their only weapon is Colgate. So the night went on and I only slept one hour haaha.. no point in sleeping anyway, you would get woken up in less than 15 minutes.
Morning 5.00am, the mist hung heavily in the damp air, and it started to drizzle. Now we were facing trouble on how to save our butt from the water. But first, to save our shoes from the rain water.. And the air confined in the camp was damn polluted with virus from Sean, farts, rain water smell, the smell of the dirty shirts and sock, nearly fainted seh. Soon, the rain got heavier but at the same time I had the urge to go the toilet, how unlucky... (no need to elaborate) I just hope all these things will end so that I can finally rest in peace.
Morning breakfast, Damn NICE. Managed to finish everything. Mi Hun- You just eat a few strands and you want more! Then time for the course, we learn things which we had already known. lol. Nevertheless, this camp was fun and I wish we could just camp longer, or have another camp together again.
I didn't know I was that funny. Stupid, perhaps.
